If you're considering canceling your Brighter Shores Premium Pass or simply letting it expire, you might be wondering how it will affect your character, progress, and gameplay experience. Here's a detailed breakdown of what you can expect when your Premium Pass runs out.

Progress and Access Changes

When your Premium Pass expires, your progress remains intact, but your access becomes limited. Here's how it works:

1. Restricted Access to Episodes:
   As a free player, you are only allowed to play the first two of the four Episodes. Once your Premium Pass expires, your character will be teleported back to the Hopeport Portal Stone, and you will no longer be able to venture past Hopeforest.

2. Equipment and Resources:
   All of your gear, resources, and profession levels will remain exactly as you left them. While you won't be able to use the equipment or resources tied to the later Episodes without a Premium Pass, you won't lose them either. Once you re-activate your Premium Pass, everything will be fully accessible again.

Your Character's Name

A key perk of the Brighter Shores Premium Pass is the ability to select a unique name without a numerical modifier. Players often worry they might lose their rare or custom name when their Premium Pass expires. Rest assured, your name will remain unchanged, even if your access to premium content is temporarily revoked.

Subscribing and Cancellation

The Premium Pass operates on a monthly subscription model, allowing you to cancel at any time. When you cancel, your benefits remain active until the 30-day period from your purchase date concludes. You can renew the Premium Pass at any point to regain access to premium content and features without losing your progress.

Letting your Premium Pass expire won't negatively affect your hard work or Brighter Shores character. Everything you've earned, including your equipment, resources, and unique name, will remain safe.
